Where I am now

Sunday, May 7th I brewed 2 batches in one day. I first brewed a Pale Ale, which I took out some crystal malt and added some carahell instead. I also brewed a Stout which both had a OG. of 1.060.
After a 44hr lag. and alot of worry, the yeast finally did their thing. I used a Burton Ale for the Stout, and then I put half the Pale Ale under some California Ale, and the other half under some Dry English Ale all from White Labs, so we'll see what happens.

The stout is fantastic, perhaps the best I've tasted so far. Besides the rich flavor, what even further proves its cleanness and good quality is there was no headache or yuckie feeling around me the next day. I, however, ended up having "beerlips" from drinking so much beer (i.e. brown line around my mouth) but it was more amusing than worrysome. The photos I took of the beer are being developed.

Very cool, thanks Rocketcat. I'm glad your head didn't hurt, but mine sure did. Well worth the evening though.
